Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, blogging, oh my! Where do I start? Do I have to be on all of them? Where do I find the time? I don’t understand Twitter or Google+ so I’m not going to be on them.
Yikes! Why is Social Media so OVERWHELMING!
OK. STOP! Take a breath. Where do you start? You start with a plan. If you’re going to build a house, you have to start with a plan. If you don’t know what you’re going to build, how are you going to build it?
Then you need to get set up on the major networks. Think of each of them as free billboards to promote your business.
Now you have to learn how to use them properly and effectively. Here’s where the learning curve is. You are actually learning several software programs at the same time! Think about it. When you first got Microsoft Office, weren’t you a little overwhelmed? Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Many of you took classes to learn how to use them. Well, you have to do the same with the social media networks. Doesn’t that make sense?
You have to learn one at a time. Step, by step. When you’re building the house what do you start with? The foundation? No, you need to clear and level the lot first. Then you build the foundation.
This July 11 you have the chance to take those classes! We’re repeating our popular, sold-out Social Media Marketing Bootcamp! In 5 consecutive Fridays, from 1-4 pm each session, we’ll cover:
