What's nice about a new year is that it gives us a fresh start. If last year was tough or even if it was good, 2019 has to be better. It can be better if you have the proper business guidance that a SCORE mentor can provide.

As we close 2018, we asked some mentors, “what words of wisdom would you tell your mentees in preparation for the new year?”

Try and routinely take the proactive approach to potential land mines on your runway. If there is a possibility that you can head off a negative occurrence, head it off rather than waiting for it to happen. We call it The Proactive Path.”
